In 2011, Congress passed a law that would allow federal student loan borrowers to base their monthly payment on their income and family size rather than the size of the loan.

Although, the process can seem daunting, this is what I do. My name is Michael Lamb and I have worked in student loan consolidation for the past year. During that time, I have learned all of the ins and outs of reducing monthly payments to an affordable amount for thousands of clients.

I left my company after a growing concern over the fees that were being charged. Some student loan companies charge a minimum of $1000 for loan forgiveness. That is simply too much money.
